Jesus christ, girl What are people gonna think When I show up to one of several funerals I've attended for grandpa this week With you With me Someone's gotta help me dig Someone's gotta help me dig Jesus christ, girl It hasn't been long so it seems Since I was picking out an island and a tomb for you At the Hollywood Cemetery You kiss On me Yeah but we should let this dead guy sleep Yeah we should let this dead guy sleep Jesus christ, girl I laid up for hours in a daze Retracing the expanse of your american back With adderal and weed in my veins You came I think The marble made my cheeks look pink But i'm unsure of so many things Someone's gotta help me dig Someone's gotta help me dig Someone's gotta help me dig

I woke to the hail of my mind I rose to the light behind my eyes I froze to find I was temporarily blind I'm waiting, i'm just waiting for my time We wait and we wait And we shake our heads At mistakes we've made Still we make our beds And we lay in peace While we count our sheep And we wait, and we wait For our time I know what you want I don't know what you need I follow you around Like a puppy at your knees I know who you are I don't know where you've been I've been waiting too damn long For this feeling We wait, and we wait And we shake our heads At mistakes we've made Still we make our beds And we lay in peace While we count our sheep And we wait, and we wait For our time Gimme, gimme gone Sing an honour song Living up to legends Like a king among pawns I know how you feel I don't know how you touch I've been waiting too damn long And expecting too much I woke to the hail of my mind I rose to the light behind my eyes I froze to find I was temporarily blind I'm waiting, I'm just waiting for my time Gimme, gimme gone Sing an honour song Living up to legends Gimme, gimme gone I've been waiting too damn long

Monster 05:25
Don't bother coming by You don't wanna know what these demons can be like. I fixed myself up nice Turned up the heat and put my skin on ice. I put a curse on you Now you know, what's it to you. If you want the truth Hold your breath till your face turns blue I've got no reflection in any direction And they say i'm getting lighter every day Well I can't wait, that's what I say I'm a monster, so give it to me straight You know us monsters We could take you any day Hey, hey, hey Don't spill your tears on me The wishes I grant, they don't come for free This 'aint your Momma's dance They'll tear you apart if you give 'em the chance You know i'm burning up Never know when to say that's enough. You can call me Queen You're still the worst damn liar that I ever have seen I've got no reflection in any direction And they say i'm getting lighter every day Well I can't wait, that's what I say I'm a monster, so give it to me straight You know us monsters We could take you any day Hey, hey, hey Happy go lucky No chance in hell Snapping my fingers like Broken bells Easy come, easy go It takes one to know And a murder this crowded don't Need another crow, I still Like the way you taste I just wanted you to know But you can't afford admission to this Freak show I've got no reflection in any direction And they say i'm getting lighter every day Well I can't wait, that's what I say I'm a monster, I don't need you anyway I'm a monster I could take you any day Hey, hey, hey

Sail (cover) 03:16
This is how I show my love I made it in my mind because I blame it on my ADD baby This is how an angel cries Blame it on my own sick pride Blame it on my ADD baby Sail (x4) Maybe I should cry for help Maybe I should kill myself Blame it on my ADD baby Maybe I'm a different breed Maybe I'm not listening So blame it on my ADD baby Sail (x4) La, la, la, la, la... Oh sail (x4) La, la, la, la, la (sail)...

about

During the winter of 2014, Elder Sister Plum holed up in her bedroom, and by the dim glow of twinkling fairy lights created Ghost Stories, a four track EP of slow-as-molasses dark magic tunes featuring bass heavy drum loops, eerie synth pads and shimmering vocal harmonies.

Sitting in front of a lap top, with no microphone or other recording equipment in sight and only an acoustic guitar in hand, the sounds began to fill the cold air around her, like whispering ghosts from beyond the veil. Dark and brooding, but with a generous amount of creeping groove.

And so Elder Sister Plum presents to you, Ghost Stories: a somber, down-tempo collection of four songs (two covers, two originals), to accompany the wind howling through the trees and their branches scratching on your window pane. Throw on some headphones or grab some speakers and have a listen.
